About me

My own path taught me that development is possible

I grew up in circumstances that demanded a great deal of me early on. Perhaps that is precisely why I began to understand how people develop inner strengths — and what can stand in the way.

Through continuous personal and professional development I shaped my own path. I learned to recognise risks and to meet them consciously.

Today I bring two worlds together:

  • supporting people in their personal and professional development
  • accompanying organisations through dynamic phases of change

For six years I have accompanied people on the basis of systemic approaches and a humanistic view of the person, particularly inspired by Virginia Satir. I meet you not from a position of knowing better, but from an attitude of confidence.

What drives me

Combining psychotherapeutic competence with human sensitivity, and supporting people in demanding phases of life to gain stability, build strengths and develop new perspectives. My life experience and many years in international leadership positions give me a deep understanding of responsibility, pressure and complex dynamics.

What guides me

I am convinced that every person is more than what has happened to them. Even in burdensome situations the capacity remains to develop new perspectives and to reshape one's own path. Development does not arise under pressure, but through trust, safety and one step at a time.

Convictions of the founding figure of family therapy that shape my work:

  1. 01People are fundamentally good. They need to find their own treasure in order to connect and to strengthen their sense of self-worth.
  2. 02Healthy relationships between people rest on equal worth.
  3. 03People come together through what they share and grow through their differences.
  4. 04We all have the inner resources we need to meet the challenges before us.
  5. 05New information opens new possibilities.
  6. 06The use of the therapist's own self, through presence, is the most effective therapeutic instrument.
  7. 07Therapy must focus on health and possibility rather than on pathology.
